Naturopathy is a form of healthcare that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The goal of naturopathy is to treat the whole person — mind, body, and spirit. It also aims to heal the root causes of an illness, not just stop the symptoms.
Talin Gurunian, ND is a licensed naturopath dedicated to guiding you on your path to optimal health and wellness. Diverse medical experience along with a certification from the Natural Institute of Naturopathy, Talin has focused her practice on the optimal physical and mental wellbeing of her patients. She is ready to listen, do a full work up and get to the root cause of your condition. She will also collaborate with other members of your health care team to ensure you are receiving the best possible care available.
Talin is passionate about helping people and is highly motivated from her own struggles with health and weight loss management. She knows how difficult it can be to focus on your wellbeing while balancing the stress of working long hours and managing a household with young children. That is why she is ready to help you find a solution to achieve your goals, and is committed to continually inspire, educate, and help you get on the right path.

The Initial Consultation ($125 + taxes)
Typically during the initial visit, your naturopath will assess your symptoms and take a detailed history of your current and past health concerns, diet, stress levels, exercise and sleep patterns. A physical exam will be conducted and lab tests may be ordered to make an assessment and diagnosis. A personalized treatment plan will be suggested to the patient to achieve their health goals and desired outcomes. The first appointment will last approximately 60 minutes. Subsequent appointments will range from 30 to 45 minutes in length.
Naturopathic medicine is currently not covered by Medicare. However, most of our services are covered by extended health benefits, employee benefit plans and private insurance plans. Insured patients are encouraged to contact their employer or individual insurance brokers to determine if they are covered and/or to request that their policy be extended to include naturopathic services if it does not already do so.
You do not require a practitioner’s referral to see a naturopath. To book an appointment with one of our Naturopaths at Sanomed Solutions click here.
